If you have a working classroom wall clock, you might ask children to tell how it is alike and how it is different from the new EDC clock.

Place the hands on the EDC Clock to show 9:00. Show how the short hand tells the hour and the long minute hand reaches out to tell the minutes past the hour. Have the class read the time for each minute as you move the minute hand ahead one minute for each day you have been in school. Revisit counting by fives, clapping on the last five, before counting on the remaining minutes.
