At the end of the month, you might ask the class to tell what they have seen on the Calendar this month and post the children’s comments near the Calendar.

What Do We See?

The pattern goes red, red, red, orange.(Juan)

There are lots of red leaves. (Jordan)

It goes 3 red and 1 orange. (Vinh)

We had 3 birthdays. (Ryan)

And so on. Have some fun acting out the AAAB pattern for the last time using students’ suggestions for the body motions – one motion to repeat three times for the reds, and a different motion for the oranges.
