This is a good time to revisit the line up of Birthday Packages to practice the order of the months. It is sometimes difficult for first graders to understand that while December is the twelfth and last month of the year, we all return after New Years to continue our school year together.

The first week of each month is also a of the week and name week days, weekend days, today, yesterday, tomorrow, and day after tomorrow, and so on.

This month’s abcd color pattern lends itself to asking what color comes before or after a given color, or in between two given colors.
